What is FDAgent?

A Windows desktop app: chat with AI models plus an autonomous agent that works with your files, commands and servers right on your computer.

Does it need the internet?

Yes, for the AI model. All file operations and commands run locally — your code is never sent anywhere. Web search is a separate setting.

Which models are supported?

[OI], Anthropic, DeepSeek, Google Gemini and any [OI]-compatible API — with your own key in settings. Or FDAgentAi from a subscription — no key needed.

Is it safe?

Yes. The agent works in a sandbox by default: edits happen in a copy, commands are isolated, every change is revertible. Risky actions require approval. API keys are stored encrypted.

What's in the subscription?

FDAgentAi tokens (Lite — 2.5M/mo, PRO — 12M/mo), all updates during the subscription, cloud settings sync, up to 3 devices. Trial period — no card.

How do I activate a license?

After payment a FDA-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX key appears in your account. Paste it in the app: Settings → License → «Save & check».

Can I move it to another PC?

Yes. The app is portable — copy the folder. Or sign in with the same license key: settings sync from the cloud.

How many devices per license?

Up to 3. Devices can be unlinked in your account at any time.

What is Plan mode?

A mode where the agent first shows its action plan and waits for your approval before executing. Great for large tasks: you agree on the approach before any file is touched.

Can a task run in the background?

Yes. Long tasks go to a background list: the chat stays free, progress is visible, and the result arrives in the original chat.

What if I don't like the agent's result?

Roll back a checkpoint, refine the task or split it into steps. The agent struggles with vague tasks — specifics («file X, function Y, error Z») dramatically improve quality.
